Questions
How are pipes and line breaks handled?
Pipes are escaped with a backslash, and line breaks become br tags. HTML angle brackets in source values are escaped. Preview the result in your Markdown renderer.
Is my file uploaded?
No. The file is read and processed by JavaScript in your browser. No account is needed.
What are the limits?
Markdown renderers differ. This tool escapes table delimiters and HTML, but other Markdown formatting characters may still be interpreted by your renderer. Text input is limited to 25 MB and tables to 200,000 cells.
