Legal
Acceptable Use Policy
Effective 8 October 2026.
This policy sets out what you may not do when you use Sheet Reserve. It's part of our Terms of Service and works alongside the Content License. Its purpose is to keep the library working, and fair to the people who pay for it.
Downloading and automated access
Don't:
- scrape or crawl the site, or download files in bulk;
- use bots, scripts or other automated tools to download files, or to access the site beyond normal use; or
- get around rate limits or fair-use limits, for example by spreading requests across several accounts, devices or IP addresses.
Search engines indexing our public pages within the rules in our robots.txt file are fine.
Fair-use limits exist to stop scraping, not to ration normal use. If you reach one, it resets within 24 hours. If you hit a limit during ordinary work, email us.
Accounts and access
Don't:
- share your account or your sign-in details, or let anyone else use your account;
- sell, rent, lend or transfer access to your account or membership;
- sign up with an email address that isn't yours; or
- open a new account to get around a suspension or a limit.
Security and infrastructure
Don't:
- try to guess passwords, use leaked credentials, or otherwise attack sign-in, sessions or email verification;
- try to get into another person's account or see their data;
- try to get around the membership check, rate limits or Cloudflare's protections;
- overload or disrupt the site, for example with a denial-of-service attack; or
- probe, scan or test the site for vulnerabilities, except as our Security policy allows.
Payments
Don't:
- use payment details you aren't authorized to use;
- file false chargebacks or payment disputes; or
- buy and refund memberships repeatedly to collect files.
Forms and messages
Don't send anything through our forms or by email that is designed to harm the site or its users, such as malware, code injection attempts or spam.
Files and content
Follow the Content License. In particular, don't resell, redistribute or publish the files, upload them to template marketplaces or file-sharing sites, or use them to build a competing library.
What happens if these rules are broken
Depending on how serious the problem is, we may:
- warn you;
- slow down or block requests;
- suspend downloads or your account;
- close your account and end your membership;
- end your license to the files you've downloaded, as the Content License describes; or
- report illegal activity to the authorities or take legal action.
If we end a membership because of abuse such as scraping, account sharing or fraud, the remaining time isn't refunded, except where the law requires it. If we end a membership without cause, we refund the unused part of the year.
If you think we've made a mistake, email [email protected] and we'll review it.
Reporting abuse
To report abuse of Sheet Reserve, email [email protected]. To report a security vulnerability, follow our Security policy.
We may update this policy. Material changes are announced as described in the Terms of Service.
