Terms of Service
Effective 8 October 2026.
These terms are an agreement between you and Yunus Emre Vurgun, an individual developer who runs Sheet Reserve (https://sheetreserve.com) as a personal project from Istanbul, Türkiye. In these terms, "we", "us" and "our" mean him as the operator of Sheet Reserve, and "you" means the person using it.
By creating an account, buying a membership or downloading a file, you agree to these terms and to the policies that form part of them:
- the Content License, which covers what you may do with the files you download;
- the Acceptable Use Policy, which covers how you may use the service; and
- Refunds and Cancellation, which covers canceling and refunds.
The Privacy Policy and the Cookie Policy explain how we handle personal data. If you don't agree to these terms, please don't use Sheet Reserve.
What Sheet Reserve is
Sheet Reserve is a library of downloadable spreadsheet templates, which come with fictional example data, and of datasets compiled from public sources. When you download a file, your browser generates it from a compressed copy stored on our server, in the format you choose: XLSX, CSV, ODS, XML (SpreadsheetML 2003) or Apple Numbers.
Who can use it
You must be at least 16 years old and able to form a binding contract under the law that applies to you. Memberships are sold through Gumroad, which sets its own requirements for buyers, including age requirements, in its terms.
Your account
You can sign up with an email address and password, or with Sign in with Google. If you sign up with Google, you can add a password later and use either method. Downloads, including free samples, require a verified email address.
When you have an account:
- Use an email address that belongs to you.
- Keep your sign-in details to yourself. An account is for one person, and you may not share it or let anyone else use it.
- You're responsible for activity under your account, except where it results from a failure on our side. If you think someone else has access to your account, change your password and email us.
You can delete your account at any time on your account page. Deleting it ends your access and removes your data as described in the Privacy Policy. It doesn't cancel your membership in Gumroad, so cancel there first if you don't want the membership to renew.
Free samples
Two sheets in the library can be downloaded by any verified account without a membership. They're covered by the same Content License as every other file.
Membership and payment
- Price and renewal. A membership costs US$19.85 per year. It renews automatically every year until you cancel.
- Gumroad is the seller. Gumroad, Inc. sells the membership as merchant of record. It processes your payment, issues receipts, collects and remits sales tax and VAT, and handles renewals and cancellations. Gumroad's own terms and privacy policy also apply to your purchase. We never see your card details.
- What's included. While your membership is active, you can download every sheet in the library in every format, including sheets added during your membership. Downloads are subject to fair-use rate limits that exist to stop scraping.
- One membership, one account. Each membership comes with a Gumroad license key and is linked to one Sheet Reserve account. It can't be shared between accounts.
- Status checks. We check the status of your membership with Gumroad from time to time, and whenever Gumroad tells us about a sale, refund, cancellation or a membership ending. Your access follows that status.
Canceling and refunds
You can cancel at any time in Gumroad. Your access continues until the end of the year you've paid for, and you can keep using files you've already downloaded under the license after that.
You can ask for a refund within 14 days of a purchase or renewal. Your access ends when the refund is processed. Refunds and Cancellation explains how to do both.
Using the files
Files are licensed to you, not sold. You may use them for personal and commercial work, including client work, change them, and share what you create with them. You may not sell, redistribute or publish the files themselves, upload them to template marketplaces or file-sharing sites, or use them to build a competing library. The Content License has the full terms, including how the licenses of public data sources apply.
Acceptable use
Use Sheet Reserve as a person normally would. Scraping and automated bulk downloading, account sharing, attacks on the site and payment fraud aren't allowed. The Acceptable Use Policy has the details.
Templates and datasets are tools, not advice
Templates are starting points that come with fictional example data. Replace the example data with your own, and check that a template suits your situation before you rely on it.
Engineering, architecture, finance and budgeting templates are not professional advice. Have a qualified person check the results before you rely on them for decisions such as structural design, building code compliance, tax or investments.
Datasets are reproduced from their sources and may contain the sources' errors or gaps. For important uses, check the figures against the original source. Data sources lists every source.
You're responsible for how you use the files and for what you do with the results.
Availability and changes to the service
We work to keep Sheet Reserve running, but we can't promise that it will always be available or free of errors, and there's no service level agreement. The service may be interrupted for maintenance, by technical problems or by events outside our control.
We may update, correct or remove sheets and features, for example to fix an error, reflect a change at a data source or comply with the law. Files you've already downloaded remain usable under the license.
Intellectual property
Apart from the third-party software and fonts listed in Copyright and Notices, Sheet Reserve's site design, code, text, templates, compilations and documentation belong to Yunus Emre Vurgun and are protected by copyright and other laws. "Sheet Reserve" and its logo are his trademarks. Apart from the license to downloaded files, these terms don't give you any rights in them. See Copyright and Notices.
The figures in datasets come from public sources and remain under those sources' licenses.
You own the data you put into a file and the work you create with it. Our rights in the template itself continue, and the license covers your use of it.
Suspension and termination
You can stop using Sheet Reserve and delete your account at any time.
We may suspend or close an account, or end a membership, if the account is used for abuse such as scraping, account sharing or fraud, or for another serious or repeated breach of these terms. If we end a membership without cause, we'll refund the unused part of the year you paid for. If we end it because of a breach, we won't refund the remaining time, except where the law requires it.
Terms that by their nature should survive the end of your account continue to apply. These include the license to files you've downloaded (unless it ended because you broke it), the disclaimers, the limits on liability and the governing law.
Disclaimers
To the extent the law allows, Sheet Reserve and all files are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement.
If you're a consumer, the law gives you rights, for example when digital content is faulty or not as described. Nothing in these terms affects those rights.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows:
- our total liability to you for all claims relating to Sheet Reserve is limited to the amount you paid for your membership in the 12 months before the claim; and
- we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits, lost revenue or business interruption.
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability that can't legally be limited or excluded, such as liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, and the courts of Istanbul have jurisdiction over disputes about them.
If you're a consumer, this choice doesn't take away the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, or any right you have to have a dispute heard by the courts there. Consumers in Türkiye may also apply to consumer arbitration committees (tüketici hakem heyetleri) or consumer courts as Turkish consumer law provides.
These terms don't require arbitration and don't waive your right to take part in a class or collective action.
If something goes wrong, please email us first so we can try to put it right.
Changes to these terms
We may change these terms. We'll announce material changes, including any change to the membership price, on the site and by email to account holders at least 14 days before they take effect, where reasonable. If you don't agree with a change, you can cancel your membership and delete your account before it takes effect. If you keep using Sheet Reserve after that, the updated terms apply to you. The effective date at the top of this page shows which version is current.
General
- These terms, together with the Content License, the Acceptable Use Policy and Refunds and Cancellation, are the whole agreement between you and us about Sheet Reserve.
- If any part of these terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the rest stays in effect.
- If we don't enforce a term right away, we can still enforce it later.
- You can't transfer your account, your membership or these terms to anyone else.
- Sheet Reserve links to other websites, such as data sources and Gumroad. We aren't responsible for their content or practices.
