How does the Sheet Reserve membership work?
Short answer
A Sheet Reserve membership costs US$19.85 per year, sold through Gumroad. It lets you download every sheet in the library in every format, including sheets added while you are a member. Two sheets are free with any verified account. After you buy, you paste the Gumroad license key on the Account page to activate the membership on your account.
Sheet Reserve is a library of downloadable spreadsheets: working templates with example data and live formulas, and public datasets. Previews are visible without a membership. Downloading needs an account, and most downloads need a membership.
What does a Sheet Reserve membership cost and include?
The membership is US$19.85 per year, sold as a yearly Gumroad membership. Gumroad is the merchant of record: it takes the payment, issues receipts and handles sales tax or VAT. Sheet Reserve never sees your card details. The current price and what is included are on the pricing page.
A membership gives you:
- Every sheet in the library, in every format (XLSX, ODS, XML, CSV and Numbers).
- Sheets added to the library while your membership is active.
- Use of the files under the license, including commercial and client work.
The only limit is a set of fair-use rate limits that stop automated scraping. They are not meant to affect ordinary use.
Which Sheet Reserve files can I download without a membership?
You do not need a membership to look at a sheet, because previews are visible without one. Two sheets can also be downloaded for free by any verified account:
How do I set up a Sheet Reserve account?
- Create an account with an email address and a password, or sign in with Google.
- If you used email and password, verify the address. Email verification is required before downloads work.
- Download the free sheets, or buy the membership on Gumroad.
How do I activate my Sheet Reserve membership with a license key?
After purchase, Gumroad shows a license key and also emails it to you. To activate:
- Sign in to Sheet Reserve and open the Account page.
- Paste the license key and submit it.
If you bought with the same email address as your verified Sheet Reserve account, the Account page can find the purchase for you through its "Find my purchase" option, so you do not have to look for the key.
One membership is linked to one Sheet Reserve account. Sharing an account is not allowed under the license.
How do I cancel a Sheet Reserve membership and get a refund?
You can cancel at any time from Gumroad, using the link in your Gumroad receipt or library. Access continues until the end of the year you paid for. After that, downloads stop until you renew. Files you already downloaded remain yours to keep using under the license terms. More detail is in what happens when my membership ends.
Refunds are available on request within 14 days of a purchase or renewal. Send the request to [email protected]. A refunded membership loses download access. The refunds page has the details.
Where are the Sheet Reserve license and terms written down?
The license says what you may do with the files, and the terms of service cover the service as a whole. This page is a plain summary. If it ever differs from those pages, the pages apply.
