Weather & climate datasets

Monthly weather variables for cities around the world, taken from NASA's POWER project (Prediction Of Worldwide Energy Resources). POWER combines satellite observations and the MERRA-2 reanalysis into a consistent global grid, which makes cities on different continents directly comparable.

Gridded values describe an area of roughly 50 km around each point, so they can differ from a single weather station's readings.
